Recently, Hurricane Harvey wreaked havoc on Houston, Texas, causing widespread devastation and displacing more than 30,000 people. The hurricane hit Texas on August 25th as a Category 4 storm causing $180 billion in damage throughout Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky.

Here at Soybu, we are fully committed to contributing to causes that matter. To help those who were hit hardest by the storm, we’ve joined forces with M2 Logistics — who volunteered to cover the transport and freight costs of the donation — to send 3,400 units of clothing to World Harvest Organization, who will connect people with essential apparel items.

World Harvest Outreach is working in conjunction with the City of Houston Emergency Services to help provide those who’ve lost everything with a resource to help cover their immediate needs. On their busiest day since the hurricane, World Harvest Outreach’s has helped connect nearly 600 individuals with items they need for their families.

The word Soybu stands for peace. We believe that by sharing peace with others, it will attract good things into their lives. This is our identity and we are happy to be a part of the relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey.
