Holiday Detox: Kiwi Ginger Smoothie

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Holidays mean more family time, less work, and a whole lot of feasting. It’s hard to resist all the festive goodies in the next couple months and after all, resolutions don’t start until next year, right? The important thing is to give yourself a healthy balance of indulging and maintaining your healthy eating habits. We’ve got you covered with this tasty Kiwi Ginger Smoothie; an excellent recipe to counter your post-holiday splurge.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup of water
  • 3 kiwis peeled & cut
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root
  • 1 1/2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 cup of ice

Directions:

  1. Measure and prepare ingredients.
  2. Blend on Medium to Medium High for 50-60 seconds.
  3. Enjoy!
